The Isles of Skye and Raasay provide a valuable training ground for sedimentary geology and the characterization of shallow marine hydrocarbon reservoirs. This exercise has been designed to test out ability to correlate between two locations on an actively subsiding dip slope. The master fault is to the west (left). Proximal is right and distal is left. An interpretation is shown in Figure 11.
