S1: Bulk rock analyses of rocks enriched in apatite or associated with European phosphate deposits. Major elements (in %) are: P2O5, Fe2O3, MnO and Sr; trace elements (in ppm) are the REE, Y, Sr and Mn, with the following geochemical parameters: ΣREE contents, LaN/YbN ratio, Ce/Ce* ratio and Eu/Eu* ratio (chondrite-normalized, McDonough and Sun 1995). Many more data about the location of the rock, its age, the related phosphate deposit (type/group, importance etc. according to Inspire) and references are provided.
S2: Representative in situ analyses (EPMA and LA-ICPMS or bulk analyses of separates/concentrates) of apatite from European phosphate deposits. EPM analyses (in %) comprise P2O5, F and Cl contents; LA-ICPMS or bulk analyses include the REE, Y, Sr and Mn, with the following geochemical parameters: ΣREE contents, LaN/YbN ratio, HREE/LREE ratio, MREE/MREE* ratio, Ce/Ce* ratio, Eu/Eu* ratio and Y* (chondrite-normalized, McDonough and Sun 1995). Many more data about the related phosphate deposit (location, type/group, importance, age etc. according to Inspire) and references are provided.
