Late Cretaceous stratigraphy in the Mudurnu–Göynük Basin (Turkey) and inferences on sea-level change in the Late Campanian to Early Maastrichtian WolfgringErik WagreichMichael YilmazIsmail O. ShashaLiu BoehmKatharina 2019 Supplementary Table 1. Calcareous nannofossil data from the Göynük composite section. Semiquantitative estimates of abundances are based on specimens per field of view (FOV): (A) abundant > 10 specimen/FOV, (C) common = 2–10 specimen/FOV, (F) few — 1 specimen per 1 to 9 FOW, (R) rare — 1 specimen per 10–100 FOV. Preservation was assessed using a scale ranging from (G) good — no clear indication of overgrowths or dissolution, (M) moderate — signs of overgrowths or dissolution, most of the specimens could still be identified at least at the genus level, (P) poor — abundant and strong overgrowths or dissolution, determination at species and genus level often questionable. Species abundance highlighted grey indicates ranges of biostratigraphicylly significant marker taxa, blue indicates cooler-water nannofossil species.
